Junior IT Technician

Company: Ocean Hotels Barbados

Main Responsibilities:

• Providing Technical support for Data, Internet, Camera, VOIP, Sound network hardware
• Providing 1st level support and limited training for the Property Management, Maintenance, Inventory, Point of Sale and Payroll applications, and some Microsoft products
• Fixing and Maintaining Hardware and Software problems on Computers, Other network or standalone devices and Printers
• Fixing and Maintaining cabling infrastructure
• Provide Technical support after hours and on weekends when required
• Basic Administration of Networks

Requirements:

• Must reside in Barbados
• Two Years’ experience in a similar position
•  A+ and Network + Certification
• Knowledge of Helpdesk or Maintenance Applications
• Work experience with operating systems, computer hardware, system files, maintenance, networking, configuration of hardware and software, and troubleshooting computer problems
• Team oriented with excellent communication, interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where meeting deadlines, multitasking, problem solving and attention to detail are essential
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
