Responsibilities

  • Answer phone calls, utilizing the appropriate phone etiquette and providing price quotes and other information.
  • Provide a high level of service to retail and internal guests.
  • Fills orders from stock when possible.
  • Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit an emergency order, if necessary, authorizing the transaction with a purchase order number.
  • Make sure all internal requests for parts are billed on the service repair order.
  • Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Automotive parts knowledge required
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Clean driving record

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to guests, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Less than high school education; or up to one month of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Willingness to complete a background check
