Job Description
Summary
The Lube Technician performs routine maintenance services and vehicle inspections while ensuring quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and compliance with dealership safety standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire pressure inspections, and other routine maintenance services.
- Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report recommended repair or maintenance needs to the Service Advisor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure customer vehicles are kept clean during service.
- Operate and maintain shop equipment, tools, and vehicle lifts in a safe manner.
- Follow repair orders accurately and complete services efficiently while meeting dealership standards.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and immediately report accidents, hazards, or equipment concerns.
Qualifications:
- ASE / Trade School certifications preferred.
- Previous automotive service, or lube technician experience preferred.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
- Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.
Compensation:
- $25.00 to $27.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Full Time
- Monday through Saturday availability
- Sundays off
