Job Description
Ecosystem Marketing NCG
Location: San Jose, California, United States
Employment type: Full-time, regular
About the role
We are looking for an Ecosystem Marketing NCG to help connect Astera Labs’ connectivity solutions with the partners, technologies, and market opportunities that shape cloud and AI infrastructure. As part of the Solutions & Ecosystem team, you will work at the intersection of technical market intelligence, ecosystem partnerships, interoperability, and go-to-market strategy.
This role offers broad exposure to how ecosystem insights become product positioning, partner programs, customer-facing content, event demos, and sales enablement. You will collaborate with Product & Platform, Engineering, Product Applications, Sales, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, and external ecosystem partners to make complex technical and market information clear, actionable, and useful.
What you’ll do
-
Own market and competitive intelligence across connectivity technologies and data-center infrastructure, including tracking vendor roadmaps, industry developments, customer needs, adoption signals, and ecosystem risks.
-
Analyze enterprise-market priorities, buying criteria, use cases, growth opportunities, and competitive activity to inform ecosystem and go-to-market strategy.
-
Build recurring market, business, and competitive-intelligence updates, reports, dashboards, and presentations for Product & Platform, Sales, and other internal stakeholders.
-
Develop and maintain partner-roadmap and ecosystem-tracking frameworks that clarify priorities, ownership, milestones, readiness, and follow-up.
-
Lead interoperability reporting across partner products by communicating completed testing, supported configurations, test coverage, current status, and upcoming milestones.
-
Translate partner feedback, technical trends, and customer needs into product requirements, positioning, messaging, and go-to-market recommendations.
-
Develop partner- and customer-facing presentations, demo collateral, solution briefs, messaging, and other content that positions Astera Labs products and solutions.
-
Plan and coordinate partner events, joint go-to-market activities, demonstrations, and related materials, timelines, and follow-up actions.
-
Support ecosystem partnership programs by organizing stakeholder inputs, documenting decisions, tracking commitments, and keeping cross-functional work moving.
-
Partner with Engineering, Product Applications, Sales, Business Development, Corporate Marketing, and external ecosystem organizations to align technical, business, and marketing priorities.
-
Prepare executive-ready summaries and recommendations that make complex technical and market topics easy to understand.
-
Improve repeatable ecosystem marketing processes, reporting, knowledge-sharing, and operating mechanisms as the team scales.
What you bring
-
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, marketing, engineering, computer science, data analytics, or a related field.
-
Foundational knowledge of connectivity technologies used in cloud and AI infrastructure, such as PCIe and CXL, and interest in how technology ecosystems evolve.
-
Understanding of server architecture, including CPU, memory, networking, and storage components, and how these affect system performance and total cost of ownership.
-
Strong analytical, written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize technical concepts for business, product, sales, and executive audiences.
-
Ability to organize and interpret technical, market, and business information using structured analyses, reports, dashboards, and presentations.
-
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to build productive relationships with engineering teams, lab staff, product teams, sales partners, and ecosystem partners.
-
Demonstrated ownership, organization, curiosity, and ability to manage multiple priorities, milestones, and stakeholders.
-
Sound judgment and attention to detail when working with customer, partner, competitive, and business-sensitive information.
Preferred qualifications
-
Experience in cloud infrastructure, AI, data-center hardware or software, semiconductor, networking, or related technology markets.
-
Familiarity with ecosystem standards or industry organizations such as OCP, PCI-SIG, CXL Consortium, UALink Consortium, or IEEE.
-
Experience creating market analyses, technical summaries, presentations, dashboards, partner materials, or sales-enablement content.
-
Experience supporting partner programs, interoperability initiatives, technical demonstrations, industry events, or joint go-to-market activities.
-
Interest in automation, data-driven marketing, and scalable operating mechanisms for ecosystem and partner work.
