Regional Purchaser

• Negotiation of contracts and implementation and communication for one or multiple plants in the region
• Creation of savings, potential, synergies
• Driving improvement processes
• Securing delivery quantities
• Supplier communication
• Internal and external correspondence for the area of responsibility, close communication with SCM, SD, R&D and Quality Department
• Supporting group-wide communication of market-relevant information
• Supporting global lead buyers with background information (trends)

• Minimum of 2 years Buying / Purchasing  experience,  ideally in a manufacturing environment
• Completing a range of tasks with different degrees of difficulty within agreed timescales.
• Organising and prioritise a varied workload with minimum amount of supervision.
• Respecting confidentiality.
