Job Description

As a Food & Beverage Attendant, you will have the opportunity to create memorable dining experiences for our guests and make every visit truly special.

Working alongside our Food & Beverage team, you will help deliver exceptional service across breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar, and event operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting guests warmly and professionally as they arrive
  • Taking food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
  • Delivering food and drinks to tables in a timely manner
  • Clearing tables, resetting and maintaining a clean dining area
  • Handling guest queries, requests, and complaints with care
  • Processing payments using POS systems and handling cash/card transactions
  • Restocking supplies and ensuring stations are stocked and tidy
  • Following hygiene, safety, and food handling procedures at all times
  • Supporting colleagues and working collaboratively as part of a team
  • Setting up and packing down service areas as required
  • Communicating any dietary needs or guest concerns to kitchen team
  • Completing daily cleaning and closing checklists


Whilst talent and attitude are our primary requirements, you will also bring:

  • A genuine passion for quality, presentation, and delivering outstanding customer service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to engage positively with guests from diverse backgrounds.
  • A strong command of both written and spoken English.
  • The physical ability to remain on your feet for extended periods and safely lift or carry light trays and equipment.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
  • Previous experience in hospitality, food and beverage service, is preferred, but not essential.
  • The ability to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • A friendly, professional attitude and a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences.
  • A positive, proactive, and can-do approach to work.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills.
  • An understanding of basic food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Flexibility to work a rotating roster across seven days, including weekends and public holidays, as required.
  • New Zealand citizenship, permanent residency.
