Job Description

About PHIL

Getting a prescription filled shouldn't be the hardest part of starting treatment. Yet for many patients, it is. PHIL is a Series D health-tech company building the platform that connects patients, prescribers, pharmacies, and pharmaceutical manufacturers so patients can get their medication quickly and affordably.

Our digital hub and pharmacy platform handles everything from enrollment and benefits verification to prior authorization, copay support, and home delivery. For manufacturers, that means more patients start therapy and stay on it, plus the commercial insight to keep improving access.

We're a dedicated team of people from a wide range of backgrounds, united by a focus on the patient experience.

The Role

We're hiring a Head of Product, Integrations to own PHIL's integrations and partnerships strategy and turn it into a roadmap that delivers quick wins now and scalability over the long term. This is a general manager role, not a project management or delivery-coordination role. You'll decide what we build, what we buy, and which partners we connect to. Integrations with EHRs, payers, and third-party providers determine how fast we can bring on new therapies and how well we serve patients, so this role is central to PHIL's growth right now.

You'll report to the Vice President of Product Management and work closely with Business Development, Engineering, Design, and Pharmacy Operations. You'll lead strategy, requirements, and prioritization, while those teams bring the partner relationships, technical build, user experience, and operational expertise.

What you'll own

  • Integrations strategy and roadmap: Own the roadmap for PHIL's external integrations (EHRs, payers and plans, and third-party service providers), linking business strategy to technical requirements and product outcomes.

  • Build vs. buy: Identify and evaluate third-party systems and service providers, and decide where to use platform capabilities and where to build in-house, with speed and quality as the test.

  • New platform capabilities: Develop and champion capabilities that support new therapeutic categories and patient therapy management.

  • Metrics and operational KPIs: Set long-term success metrics, KPIs, and SLAs for integrations, and keep the roadmap tied to measurable outcomes.

  • Discovery and prioritization: Lead user research and discovery across Product, Engineering, Operations, and Commercial, and prioritize ruthlessly so the organization stays focused.

  • Team and standards: Mentor product team members and raise the bar on strategic rigor and operational depth, including benchmarking against industry best practices.

What success looks like in your first year

  • By 90 days: You've mapped our current integrations landscape, met your key partners and internal stakeholders, and identified the top gaps and opportunities. You've shared an initial assessment with senior leadership.

  • By 6 months: You've delivered a prioritized integrations roadmap with defined KPIs and agreed build-vs-buy decisions, and shipped at least one quick win that measurably improves speed or quality.

  • By 12 months: At least one major new integration or platform capability is live and hitting its targets, integration KPIs and SLAs are tracked and reported to leadership, and the roadmap is supporting at least one new therapeutic category.

What you'll bring

Our strongest candidates have led product in healthcare, whether in pharmacy operations, EHR systems, or payer and plan integrations, so they understand the technical, regulatory, and operational realities of connecting these systems. They can set strategy with the C-suite and also get into the details with engineers.

  • 10+ years in product management, including at least 3 years turning business strategy into clear product requirements and outcomes

  • Healthcare experience, ideally in pharmacy operations, EHR systems, or payer and plan integrations

  • You've defined and driven product strategy in complex, regulated, mission-critical domains

  • You've set and managed product KPIs and operational SLAs, and you're fluent with data

  • You understand technical systems well enough to collaborate effectively with engineering teams

  • You've influenced senior leaders, including the C-suite, on strategy and prioritization

  • You've used AI in real product solutions (including continuous learning systems) and in development efficiency

  • You thrive under pressure, work independently, and launch solutions quickly

  • Education in technology, healthcare, or pharmacy

Nice to have

  • Experience evaluating and onboarding third-party vendors or service providers

  • A passion for improving patient care through thoughtful, scalable systems design
