Job Description
A data steward’s mission is to manage, protect, and maximize the value of an organization's data
assets by ensuring they are accurate, accessible, secure, and compliant. They act as business
custodians who implement data governance policies, improve data quality, and bridge the gap
between technical teams and business users.
Your contribution to something big:
- Support to Business Analyst on projects, in Data Cleansing & Migration Scope and alignments with User Department;
- Gather data and capture the information into databases. This may include gathering documents from various sources;
- Create / adjust Excel template for uploads;
- Data Quality (rules and standards) and Cleansing (completeness, format, consistency);
- Error solving together with multi-disciplinary teams;
- Coordination with central departments (e.g. PMD);
- First level support coordination and KPI for service level;
- Second level support - Daily operations;
- Create and update documentation (internal procedures + end user documentation);
- Ensure data compliance tasks.
What distinguishes you:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Information Systems, Management, or a comparable qualification (relevant professional experience is equally valued).
Experience
- Proven hands-on experience working with SAP Master Data—specifically within the Material Management (MM) module.
- Track record of successful cross-functional collaboration between business user departments and central IT.
- Experience working in agile project environments (e.g., Scrum/Kanban) is an advantage.
Know-how
- Solid functional understanding of SAP ERP (R/3); familiarity with SAP S/4HANA is a strong asset.
- Exposure to complementary modules (such as SD, FI, or CO) is a plus.
- Solid grasp of core Data Governance principles, data quality management tools, and database fundamentals (SQL).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and modeling.
Languages
- Fluent English and Portuguese (written and verbal) for seamless daily collaboration in our international environment.
- German language skills are considered an advantageous plus, but are not mandatory.

- Demonstrated ability to navigate cross-functional projects with agility, flexibility, and a focus on sustainable solutions.
