Job Description

Summary

The Lube Technician performs routine maintenance services and vehicle inspections while ensuring quality workmanship, customer satisfaction, and compliance with dealership safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform oil changes, fluid checks, tire pressure inspections, and other routine maintenance services.
  • Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections and report recommended repair or maintenance needs to the Service Advisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area and ensure customer vehicles are kept clean during service.
  • Operate and maintain shop equipment, tools, and vehicle lifts in a safe manner.
  • Follow repair orders accurately and complete services efficiently while meeting dealership standards.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies and immediately report accidents, hazards, or equipment concerns.


Qualifications:

  • ASE / Trade School certifications preferred.
  • Previous automotive service, or lube technician experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and automotive systems.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to operate shop equipment and tools safely.
  • Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset.
  • Physical ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
  • Ability to successfully complete pre-employment requirements, including background check, motor vehicle record (MVR) review, and drug screening.


Compensation:

  • $21.63 per hour
  • Union Scale

(The Lube Technician Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges.  Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of $21.63.)

Schedule: 

  • Full Time
  • Monday through Sunday availability
  • Hours of operation: Mon - Sat 7am to 6pm, Sunday 9am to 3pm
