Job Description
Job Purpose:
To support the smooth and efficient operation of the hotel bar, ensuring excellent guest service, high operational standards and a positive team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support the bar team during daily operations and service.
- Ensure guests receive friendly, professional and efficient service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including cash handling and stock checks.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness,
- Presentation, hygiene and health & safety.
- Prepare and serve drinks in line with hotel standards and responsible service requirements.
- Monitor stock levels and minimise waste and breakages.
- Train, coach and support team members to improve performance and service standards.
- Deal confidently with guest requests, feedback and complaints.
- Ensure all bar procedures and hotel policies are followed.
- Support the F&B Manager with the smooth running of the department and act as a role model for the team.
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous bar or F&B experience preferred.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Confident, organised and able to lead a team.
- Good knowledge of drinks and bar service.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy hotel environment.
- Professional attitude with a strong focus on guest satisfaction.
