Job Description

Who You Are

You have hands-on experience in bookkeeping or accounting support — specifically handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliations. You are detail-oriented to a fault, you don't let transactions slip through unrecorded, and you take pride in clean, accurate books. You have worked with QuickBooks, Xero, or a similar platform and are comfortable supporting U.S.-based clients in a structured, process-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Record and categorize daily financial transactions accurately.
  • Manage accounts payable — track vendor invoices, schedule payments, and reconcile statements.
  • Manage accounts receivable — generate invoices, follow up on outstanding balances, and log payments.
  • Process payroll entries and support payroll reconciliation as needed.
  • Record journal entries accurately and in accordance with client SOPs.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations on a regular schedule.
  • Support month-end close processes — prepare reports and flag discrepancies proactively.
  • Maintain organized financial records in QuickBooks, Xero, or similar platforms.
  • Deliver regular financial summaries and flag anomalies immediately.

Requirements

  • Strong spoken and written English — C1 preferred.
  • 3+ years in bookkeeping, accounting support, or billing — BPO or U.S.-client experience preferred and must be documented on your resume.
  • QuickBooks or Xero experience — required.
  • Your last 3 positions should reflect an average tenure of at least 1 year per role; this will be verified during the screening process.
  • High attention to detail and zero tolerance for errors.
  • Able to follow accounting SOPs, meet deadlines, and report accurately.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.

Benefits

  • Comprehensive compensation based on experience.
  • Immediate payroll enrollment from Day 1 — fully registered under Peruvian labor law (Régimen General).
  • 100% statutory benefits — CTS, gratificaciones, vacaciones, and AFP/ONP contributions per Peruvian regulations.
  • Private health insurance — Rímac EPS coverage from the start.
  • Long-term career placement with a single dedicated U.S. client.
  • Fixed U.S. business hours — no rotating shifts.
  • Exposure to U.S. business standards, tools, and professional culture.
  • Career growth opportunities — many of our Associates grow with the same client for years.
