Location: Wrocław, Poland (On-site)
Relocation: Candidates from anywhere in Poland are welcome, provided they are open to relocating.

About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Junior Calypso Developer who wants to build a career within Capital Markets technology and gain hands-on experience working on one of the most widely used trading and risk management platforms in the financial industry.

You will join a newly established team responsible for supporting and enhancing a critical Calypso environment while learning from experienced consultants and developers.

This role is ideal for someone looking to combine a technical Java background with exposure to investment banking and financial markets.

Additionally, there may be the possibility of future internalization with the client after a successful period in the role.

Responsibilities

  • Support development and maintenance activities within Calypso.
  • Assist senior developers in implementing enhancements and fixes.
  • Participate in testing and deployment activities.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues under mentorship.
  • Work with SQL databases and existing integrations.
  • Learn Capital Markets processes and Calypso architecture.


Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional experience in software development.
  • 2 years of experience working with Java.
  • SQL/database skills.
  • Strong willingness to learn Calypso and Capital Markets technologies.
  • Problem-solving mindset.
  • Fluent English: C1.

Nice to Have

  • Exposure to financial systems or banking projects.
  • Knowledge of Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with Linux/Unix.
  • Internship or academic projects related to financial technology
