Temporary Production Operatives – Talent Pool

Location: Wath upon Dearne, South Yorkshire
Pay: £13.45 per hour starting rate
Contract: Casual (no guaranteed hours)
Shifts: Casual 8 or 12 hours, with night shifts offered at times

Bluetree Group is building a pool of reliable casual colleagues to support our Dispatch team when we need extra help. This is a casual-hours role, so there are no guaranteed hours. We'll offer shifts as they become available, and you can choose whether to accept them. 

This suits people who want flexible work and are happy to pick up shifts at short notice, rather than anyone looking for regular, set hours.

What the work is like

Dispatch is fast-paced and physical. Orders need to be packed accurately and leave site on time, so you'll be on your feet, working to deadlines, and keeping up with a steady flow of work, especially during busy periods.

Typical duties may include:

• Packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch.
• Loading, unloading and moving products safely around the warehouse.
• Manual handling of printed products and materials.
• Carrying out quality checks before orders are dispatched.
• Keeping work areas clean, organised and safe.
• Supporting the wider team during busy periods.

What we expect from you

You'll get training and someone to ask when you start. But because shifts are often busy, we need people who:

• Take ownership of their work and get stuck in without needing to be told each step
  
• Look for what needs doing next, rather than waiting to be given the next task
  
• Ask for help if they're unsure, rather than guessing
  
• Turn up on time for shifts they've accepted and let us know early if they can't make it
  
• Take care with accuracy and quality, even when it's busy
  
• Are comfortable with manual handling and working on their feet

Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience is helpful but not essential.
