Job Description
We are looking for a Control-M Functional Analyst to join an international team responsible for managing and supporting business-critical batch processes and operational workflows.
This role is primarily functional rather than development-focused. We are seeking a professional with strong Control-M expertise, solid SQL knowledge, and excellent communication skills who can act as the bridge between business users and technical teams.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable gathering requirements, coordinating and executing tests, analyzing incidents, and ensuring the successful delivery of functional solutions. Deep development expertise is not required; however, basic knowledge of Python and automation concepts will be considered a plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor, manage, and track processes executed through Control-M.
- Coordinate and execute functional testing activities, ensuring business requirements are met.
- Act as the primary point of contact between business users and technical teams.
- Analyze functional incidents, coordinate investigations, and follow up on issue resolution.
- Provide operational support and validate deliverables before production releases.
- Coordinate activities related to enhancements, changes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Gather and understand business requirements, translating them into functional solutions.
- Ensure proper documentation of processes, test cases, and operational procedures.
- Support users during testing and implementation phases.
- 2+ years of experience working with Control-M in functional, operational, or support environments.
- Experience coordinating and executing functional testing activities.
- Strong understanding of batch processing, scheduling, and workflow monitoring.
- Solid knowledge of SQL Server and SQL querying.
- Basic knowledge of Python programming.
- Experience working directly with business users and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- English: B2 minimum
