Investing Education Specialist

We’re looking for an investment educator with strong marketing instincts—someone who understands investing deeply, but is equally passionate about helping others understand it.

You’ll play a key role in building moomoo’s investor education proposition, turning complex investment concepts into simple, practical and engaging content across MooAcademy, social media, webinars and in-person experiences.

Rather than focusing on a single market, you’ll bring broad investment expertise across options, equities and ETFs, AI-powered investing and beginner investor education. You’ll also become a trusted human face of moomoo, helping investors move from learning to taking action with greater confidence.

Responsibilities

MooAcademy

• Pilot and develop MooAcademy courses and curriculum, ensuring content is relevant, practical and aligned with investor needs.
• Design structured learning journeys for investors across different experience levels, from beginners to more experienced investors and traders.
• Help position MooAcademy as a trusted destination for investors to learn, practise and apply their knowledge across different stages of their investing journey.

Investor Content Strategist

• Develop and front educational content across social media, video, MooAcademy, webinars and investor events.
• Translate complex investment concepts into clear, practical and relatable learning experiences for investors of different experience levels.
• Identify topics, trends and investor pain points that can be turned into compelling educational and marketing content.
• Bring a marketing mindset to financial education, understanding what makes content relevant, engaging and actionable.
• Use audience insights, content performance and investor feedback to continuously improve our education strategy.

Moomoo Ambassador

• Front videos, webinars, conferences, MooAcademy sessions and other investor-facing experiences.
• Engage directly with investors, answer questions and make investing feel more accessible and less intimidating.
• Represent moomoo at industry and community events, helping strengthen our credibility as an investor education platform.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in financial services, investment education, research, trading, content, or a related field, with strong practical experience in investing and/or trading.
• Deep practical knowledge of equities, ETFs and options, with a strong foundation in fundamental and technical analysis, options Greeks and risk management.
• Advanced options expertise, with the ability to structure, explain and manage complex multi-leg strategies, including Iron Condors, Ratio Spreads, Butterflies, and Calendar/Diagonal Spreads, within a retail trading platform environment.
• Strong understanding of volatility and options pricing, including IV Rank, IV Percentile, volatility skew and term structure. Able to translate these concepts into practical frameworks for evaluating risk and identifying long/short volatility opportunities.
• Strong portfolio and risk management capabilities, including dynamic management of Delta, Gamma, Theta and Vega exposure, margin requirements, assignment risk and expiration/OpEx risk.
• Data-driven approach to identifying investment and trading opportunities, with the ability to identify and explain repeatable market edges such as IV-RV premiums, earnings volatility and other options-based strategies in a practical and actionable way for retail investors.
• Strong interest in AI-powered investing and financial technology, with the ability to understand how AI and technology can enhance investment research, portfolio construction and decision-making.
• Exceptional educator and communicator, able to make complex financial concepts simple, practical and relatable for investors across different levels of experience—from beginners to sophisticated traders.
• Comfortable engaging with investors 1-to-1 and in larger group settings, with strong capabilities in public speaking, presenting, writing and content creation.
• Relevant financial services licence required. Candidates who are not currently licensed must be willing to complete the relevant examinations and obtain the required licence.
• Passionate about investor education and helping people become more confident and capable in managing their investments and building long-term wealth.
• Moomoo advocate: Bonus if you are an existing user of moomoo, but more importantly, you must be willing to actively use, learn and advocate for the moomoo platform and its products.
