What you will be doing:

• Manage and coordinate activities within your designated kitchen section
• Prepare and cook dishes with precision, creativity, and consistency
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to develop and implement new menu items
• Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards in all food handling, preparation, and storage
• Train the team in cooking techniques and kitchen procedures
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the kitchen management
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Assist in cost control measures and minimizing food waste
• Ensure timely and efficient food service during peak hours
• Adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

Your experience and skills include:

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar position in an international brand. Remote area work experience is preferred.
• Proficient in Bahasa Indonesia and English.
• Good leadership and communication skills.
• Working knowledge of HACCP, inventory system, and culinary skills.
• Support the Head Chef in developing new dishes and menus based on the current trends.
• Well-groomed and a can-do attitude.
• Flexible with working hours and ability to work under pressure.
• Physical ability to lift moderate weight, stand and walk for extended periods of time.
