About the Client

Our client is a rapidly growing eCommerce health and personal care products company selling across multiple online channels, including Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok Direct-to-Consumer.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced eCommerce Accountant to own the company's financial operations, including full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, forecasting, cash flow management, reconciliations, inventory and COGS accounting, and U.S. tax compliance.

The ideal candidate has strong accounting experience, direct U.S. taxation experience, and the ability to independently manage accounting operations while working closely with leadership.


Shift: US Business Hours (12AM–9AM PHT, 1-hour lunch)
Work Arrangement: Remote (Philippines)

What You'll Do

  • Own day-to-day accounting operations, including AP, AR, payroll, inventory, amortizations, accruals, and other accounts
  • Record and reconcile daily sales across Amazon, Shopify, and TikTok
  • Reconcile payment platforms including PayPal, Stripe, Amazon Payments, and TikTok
  • Manage AP, vendor payments, and expense tracking
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations and month-end closing activities
  • Prepare monthly P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and other financial reports
  • Analyze financial trends, variances, profitability, and opportunities for cost savings and growth
  • Manage inventory valuation, COGS, physical counts, and inventory reconciliations
  • Own financial forecasting and budget preparation, including monitoring actuals against budget and forecasts
  • Manage and monitor cash flow, including cash inflows, outflows, and liquidity
  • Handle and/or support U.S. tax preparation and compliance requirements
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and audit-ready financial records
  • Identify and flag irregular or unusual financial activity
  • Partner with leadership on financial planning, reporting, and business decisions
  • Lead or support accounting process improvements and special projects
  • Perform ad hoc financial analysis and other accounting-related tasks as needed

What You Need

  • CPA or equivalent U.S. accounting license
  • 3–5+ years of accounting experience with strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
  • Experience owning full-cycle accounting and financial operations
  • Direct experience with U.S. taxation and tax compliance
  • Experience with financial reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and cash flow management
  • Prior eCommerce or online retail accounting experience
  • Strong knowledge of inventory accounting, COGS, amortization, and cost recognition
  • Experience handling multi-channel eCommerce transactions and reconciliations
  • Proficiency in accounting software; QuickBooks experience preferred
  • Advanced Excel or Google Sheets skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment
  • Strong organization and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Amazon FBA accounting and multi-channel eCommerce
  • Experience with inventory management systems
  • Cost accounting experience
  • Experience implementing or improving accounting processes


Technical Requirements

  • Fiber internet (PLDT Fiber, Converge, Globe Fiber, etc.) - recommended speed of 100/50 Mbps
  • Backup internet (mobile hotspot or secondary ISP) capable of at least 20 Mbps
  • Quiet, conducive home workspace
  • OPTIONAL: Wired Ethernet connection preferred during work hours
  • OPTIONAL: Power backup (UPS) if the location experiences frequent outages
