At XYZ Reality, we’ve created the world’s first engineering-grade Augmented Reality solution for construction. Our product, The Atom, is used on major projects worldwide to bring designs to life on-site and help teams build more accurately, efficiently and with fewer mistakes.

As a Series B business scaling across the US and internationally, we’re looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Partner to join our team in Austin and play a key role in building the talent behind our growth.

The Role

You’ll own end-to-end recruitment across our US Project Delivery organisation, with an initial focus on hiring Site and Field Engineers supporting major construction and Data Centre projects.

This is a hands-on sourcing role. You’ll go beyond job boards to identify and engage hard-to-reach talent through direct sourcing, market mapping, referrals, local networks and creative sourcing channels.

Working closely with hiring managers and business leaders, you’ll take ownership of your searches, provide market insight and build proactive talent pipelines as we continue to scale across the US.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own full-cycle recruitment for Site Engineers, Field Engineers and wider Project Delivery roles across the US

• Build and grow partnerships with trade schools, technical colleges and universities in our key US regions to create long-term talent pipelines

• Design and deliver our veteran hiring strategy, working with programmes such as SkillBridge, Hiring Our Heroes and military transition offices to bring skilled service members into construction careers

• Headhunt passive, experienced field talent through direct sourcing, market mapping, referrals, local networks and industry events

• Build regional talent pipelines ahead of new and upcoming project locations

• Partner with hiring managers to shape requirements, challenge assumptions and share market insight on talent and compensation

• Represent XYZ Reality at career fairs, campus events and industry meetups

• Keep candidate and pipeline data accurate in Ashby, and report on activity, source mix and time-to-hire

• Strengthen our direct sourcing capability and reduce our reliance on agencies

What We’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Talent Acquisition or Recruitment

• Construction industry recruitment experience (essential)

• Direct experience hiring Site Engineers, Field Engineers or comparable field-based construction talent

• Proven experience building relationships with trade schools, technical colleges and/or universities across multiple US regions

• Experience in veteran hiring, including partnering with military transition programmes or veteran organisations

• Strong direct sourcing and market-mapping skills, with a track record of engaging passive candidates

• Experience managing multiple requisitions across different US locations at once

• Confidence to advise, influence and challenge hiring managers

• Comfortable in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities change quickly

• Based in Austin, Texas, or within commuting distance, and able to work from our Austin office 3 days a week
