What You'll Do

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items, including soups, salads, sandwiches, entrées, sides, and desserts
  • Support food service across our dining venues: the Pub, Bistro, Health Center, and Main Kitchen
  • Meet standards for food quality, presentation, consistency, and portion control
  • Help with meal prep, production, plating, and service
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, infection control, and HACCP guidelines
  • Monitor and record food and refrigeration temperatures
  • Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and safe
  • Operate kitchen equipment safely and help with routine equipment care
  • Work with chefs, cooks, servers, and the Dining Services team to deliver an exceptional dining experience
  • Pitch in wherever needed to keep meal service running smoothly

What You Bring

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required)
  • At least one year of professional cooking experience (preferred)
  • Experience in restaurants, healthcare, senior living, hospitality, catering, or institutional food service is a plus
  • Knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and team-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize and work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
  • A passion for serving others and an eagerness to learn
