At inspiring vet care, our people are at the heart of everything we do. As the UK’s number one vet care provider, we're trusted with the care of over 2 million animals, delivering our purpose of healthier animals and happier owners.
At Blake Vets, we’ve built a strong reputation across Bridgwater and Burnham-on-Sea for delivering exceptional care to pets and their owners. Now, we’re looking for a Veterinary Surgeon at our Burnham practice and help us continue that legacy. If you’re passionate about clinical excellence, thrive on variety, and want to work in a team that values development and collaboration, we’d love to hear from you.
Alongside another vet on rotation, you’ll have the autonomy to shape the service while knowing you have the backing of a wider team of certificate holders in medicine. You will also have the sound knowledge that we offer 24 hour inpatient care at our main branch where you can send emergency cases over.
Whether you’re experienced or looking to develop, we’ll support you with certificates, advanced training, and leadership opportunities.
How You’ll Make a Difference
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you’ll work collaboratively with the wider practice team to deliver a high standard of patient and client care across a varied and rewarding caseload.
You’ll continue to develop your clinical skills and interests while sharing your knowledge and experience with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You’ll be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
