Job Description
Job responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Maintain the continuity of pump operations, dam levels and pipelines
- Providing Pumping Operations Support
- Completing tasks to quality standards
- Ensuring availability of relevant spares, tools, materials and resources
- Executing a work instruction
- Identifying unexpected problems
- Communicating unexpected problems to appropriate supervisor or manager
- Ensuring high standard of housekeeping
- Ensuring procedural compliance of tasks
- Operating pumps
- Report on condition of pumps
- Identifying process risks/threats
- Ensure haulage drains are cleaned of foreign material
This role is at a B1 level reporting to the Engineering Foreman / Pump Team Supervisor
- Matric
Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- 3 years related experience will be advantageous.
- Trained in pump operations
