Job Description
Position Highlights:
- Logistics:
- Pay: $23.00+ an hour
- Contract Type: 6-month contract with a 6-month extension period
- Schedule: 8:00 a.m. through 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, Federal Holidays excluded
- Location: 4500 S. Lancaster Rd, Dallas, TX
- Requirements:
- Authorization to work in the U.S. permanently, without sponsorship
- Previous carpentry experience and knowledge in the construction field
- OSHA certification
- Creativity and design skills
- Experience of using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws, and nail guns
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- An associate degree or an apprenticeship in carpentry (preferred)
- Joinery or cabinet-making skills (preferred)
- Knowledge of building regulations and codes (preferred)
- Previous experience with the VA is a plus
