Job Description
Role Purpose
The Graduate Risk Analyst will support the company’s day-to-day risk monitoring, data analysis, and risk management activities. The role involves monitoring business and operational data, identifying unusual activities and potential risks, supporting risk investigations, and contributing to the improvement of internal risk management processes.
Key Responsibilities
Risk Monitoring & Data Analysis
- Conduct daily risk monitoring and data analysis in accordance with established procedures and requirements.
- Review business and operational data to identify unusual activities, potential risks, irregular patterns, and emerging issues.
- Perform statistical analysis and trend assessments based on monitoring results.
- Assist in preparing regular risk analysis reports, ensuring information is clear, accurate, and complete.
- Record, follow up, and escalate material or unusual findings to the relevant teams in a timely manner.
Risk Management & Investigations
- Perform assigned risk management and control activities in accordance with company policies and internal procedures.
- Support investigations into unusual activities, risk events, and operational incidents.
- Review relevant data, transaction records, and system information to support risk assessments and investigations.
- Maintain clear and accurate records of investigation processes, findings, and follow-up actions.
- Monitor the progress of identified risk matters and ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately and within required timeframes.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work professionally and effectively with Compliance, Operations, Technology, Customer Operations, and other internal teams.
- Provide data analysis and risk-related information to support business and operational requirements.
- Participate in customer verification, risk investigations, and other cross-functional risk management activities.
- Communicate identified issues clearly and follow established internal processes to ensure appropriate follow-up.
Systems & Process Management
- Monitor relevant internal systems and server operations and identify issues that may affect data integrity or business operations.
- Use internal systems, monitoring tools, and data platforms in accordance with company requirements.
- Strictly follow internal procedures, data management requirements, and risk control standards.
- Contribute to the improvement of risk management and data processing processes to enhance the efficiency of risk identification and monitoring.
Essential Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or above; recent graduates and final-year students are encouraged to apply.
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Strong analytical, logical-thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify anomalies, trends, and potential issues within data.
- Strong discipline and professional integrity, with the ability to strictly follow company policies, procedures, and work requirements.
- High level of responsibility, reliability, and accuracy.
- Strong execution skills and the ability to complete assigned tasks accurately and within required timeframes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with data.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Strong willingness and ability to learn new business processes, systems, and working methods.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively within a team.
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven, and professional environment with high standards of accuracy and accountability.
