Job Description
TopFloor is seeking a dynamic and motivated Growth & Partnerships Intern to join our team. The Growth & Partnerships Intern will support the Growth & Partnerships Associate and the TopFloor brand in executing sales, partnership development, brand visibility, and client engagement activities. This role is ideal for a motivated individual eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast‑paced consulting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying new customer niches and potential partnership opportunities.
- Support the preparation of sales pitches, proposals, and presentations.
- Participate in client engagement activities, including follow‑ups, feedback collection, and documentation.
- Contribute to LinkedIn content creation, event participation and other brand visibility initiatives.
- Help coordinate client engagements and maintain a database of key partner contacts.
- Assist in organising internal and external events, including learning, development and consulting sessions and networking activities.
- Support the guaging and improvement of client satisfaction and compile service feedback reports.
- Maintain accurate records of partnership activities, leads, and client interactions.
- Provide administrative and logistical support to the Growth & Partnerships Officer and the TopFloor team.
- Participate in team meetings, contribute ideas, and uphold TopFloor’s values and culture.
Requirements
- Demonstrated alignment and commitment to TopFloor’s values
- Degree / Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong interest in sales, partnerships, business development and brand management.
- Any prior experience in a similar role within similar industry is preferred.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Demonstrated emotional maturity, including the ability to manage disappointment and rejection, which are natural and frequent aspects of this role.
- Ability to manage your time and meet deadlines as required.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Active presence or familiarity with use of professional platforms like LinkedIn is preferred.
- High level of professionalism, enthusiasm, and willingness to learn.
- Strong communication skills - written, verbal, and interpersonal.
- Fluent in English and any major local language (Nyanja, Bemba, Lozi, Tonga)
- Valid drivers license
- Ability to travel for client engagements when required.
