Job Description

How to Use Social Media Marketing to Grow Your Small Business | OutboundEngine

Marketing coordination and campaigns

●       Coordinating content calendars across email, social, and web, and keeping campaigns on schedule

●       Gathering material, assets, and approvals from trainers, the marketing team, and the founders

●       Supporting demos, launches, and events with promotion and preparation

●       Keeping a clear view of what is going out, when, and on which channel

Social media marketing

●       Planning, creating, and publishing content across the company's social channels on a consistent schedule

●       Managing the day to day presence on each platform: posting, stories, and replying to comments and DMs promptly

●       Growing the audience and engagement, with a focus on turning followers into demo sign ups and booked sessions

●       Promoting free demos, the Children's Practice Club, new programs, and events with timely, targeted posts

●       Staying on top of trends, formats, and platform changes, and testing new ideas that fit the brand's voice

●       Engaging with parents, educators, and partner communities online to build trust and word of mouth

●       Making sure every post that features a child has parent consent before it goes live

●       Logging every post in the content tracker and applying reviewer feedback so each post is stronger than the last

●       Reviewing monthly results (reach, engagement, inquiries) and sharing what worked and what to try next

Writing and content

●       Writing, drafting, editing, and proofreading newsletters, email campaigns, social media captions, announcements, and other marketing content

●       Adapting one piece of material into several formats so good content gets used more than once

●       Keeping everything consistent in voice, accurate in detail, and free of errors before it goes out

●       Writing the practical content families actually need: program explanations, scheduling notes, and answers to the questions that come up most

Inquiries, follow up, and conversion

●       Answering email and social media inquiries promptly, with a clear focus on converting interest into booked sessions

●       Following up with leads who attended a demo, requested information, or went quiet

●       Guiding families through the practical questions: age fit, scheduling, packet options, pricing, and next steps

●       Ongoing client follow up and engagement, including support for rebooking and repeat sign ups

●       Keeping a clear record of every inquiry, follow up, and outcome so nothing is lost between conversations

●       Escalating anything that needs a trainer, the Chief of Staff, or a founder rather than guessing at an answer

Video and creative production

●       Editing highlight videos, testimonials, educational content, reels, and long form videos

●       Repurposing existing footage into new formats for different channels

●       Creating graphics and thumbnails

●       Maintaining visual consistency across everything the company publishes

●       Organizing and maintaining the video library so footage can be found and reused

●       Preparing finished content and assets for the marketing team

Research and general operations support

●       Researching prospects, partners, platforms, tools, and competitors as needed

●       Documenting processes as you build them so the next person can follow them ● General operations support wherever the work is
