- Bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting assistance
- Mobility and transfers
- Companionship and social engagement
- Meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Medication reminders
- Transportation and errands when needed
- Fall-prevention and safety assistance
- Dementia and memory-care support
- Assistance with hospice clients and vigil/bedside care
- Following each client's individualized service plan
- Completing required progress notes after each shift
- Communicating changes in the client's condition to the office
