Skid Steer Operator  

$20 - $22 per Hour + Overtime Opportunities

                                 Weekend Days - Saturday & Sunday  - 7am - 7pm

 Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Unload trailers and bunkers
  • Start-up and shut down of machines
  • Complete pre-start checklists and daily production reports
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and make adjustments as required
  • Operate a Forklift and Skid Steer/ MUST have skid steer experience
  • Assist other operators when required
  • Move tires from trailers and bunkers to keep production flowing
  • Fill hoppers with processed rubber
  • Stage materials on the plant floor
  • Ensure continual feed of material to hoppers to keep production going
  • Keep work areas clean and free of debris
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Skid Steer License with previous experience with skid steers ex. snow removal, snow plow operators, snow plow, heavy equipment operators etc. (certification considered an asset)
  • Previous experience with forklift operation (certification considered an asset)
  • Previous experience in a production/manufacturing facility
  • Able to work in a fast-paced production environment
  • Strong work ethic with a positive attitude
  • Willingness to assist where needed
  • Ability to work with limited supervision
  • Flexibility to work overtime as required
