Job Description
Spring 2027 TV Music Internship:
Applications close: October 19, 2026 at 11:59pm PT
Program Dates: January 25 - April 1, 2027
Time Commitment: Part-Time (24 hours per week required)
Format: In Person
Responsibilities: "What would you say you do here?”
The Music Intern will have the opportunity to observe music meetings and recording sessions, attend spotting sessions, and watch music previews
Process cue sheets and watch content to help ensure accuracy
Manage assets and handle music publishing requests
Break down scripts
Upload and organize assets for the DWATV music library, utilizing DISCO
Pull music for our editorial team
Organize the team’s administrative files
Basic Qualifications: “What do I need to have in order to do this job?”
Pop culture/media savvy with knowledge of artists and their work
Strong computer proficiency, including knowledge of programs like Word, Excel, and Gmail
Professional manner and excellent communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and have the ability to multitask
Pursuing an Associate, Bachelor or Graduate degree at a College/University (or equivalent), or be a recent graduate (within six months of graduation date) studying Music/Music Industry/Business of Music (or something related)
Must be 18 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be willing to work in Glendale, California

Film/TV/Media majors or Music Industry majors preferred
Strong curiosity about a career in music and/or music administration
Current class standing of Junior or above (or equivalent)
Hourly Rate: $18.47
Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.
