TŪRANGA   THE ROLE 

We are excited about our hospital expansion project, and we know you will be too. 

As the Operational Readiness Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in bringing Forté Health's hospital expansion to life. This role works across the organisation aligning project activities, planning and stakeholder engagement to ready the organisation for a smooth transition into the expanded facility. 

This is a role for the experts, providing clarity and confidence to a complex programme, balancing competing priorities and managing critical dependencies. 

This Fixed Term role is until March 2028 for the period of the expansion build project, onsite Monday- Friday 

Key responsibilities; 

  • Advance and maintain the operational readiness programme, including milestones, dependencies and critical path activities. 
  • Coordinate readiness activities across clinical, operational, technology, procurement and facilities workstreams. 
  • Monitor progress, identify risks and constraints, and drive actions to keep the programme on schedule. 
  • Ensure continuity of clinical operations through effective transition, cutover and implementation planning.

You are a project or programme professional with experience delivering operational readiness, transition and commissioning activities within large-scale or complex environments.  

You describe yourself in the following ways; 

  • Highly organised and commercially astute 
  • Expert-level Microsoft Project capability  
  • Confident communicator from frontline teams through to senior leaders and Boards  
  • You translate complexity into everyday language & clear reporting  

All internal and external stakeholders are a pleasure to deal with, and we know that you will enjoy not just working with them but making this project a success for them, and our future Patients.
